Recently, Schmidt Eckert Sebastian, Asia Pacific procurement director of rail system business of Knorr-Bremse Group, and Liu Yan, senior procurement business manager of Knorr Bremse Vehicle Equipment (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., visited Xiangtou Light Material Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xiangtou Light Material"), affiliated to Xiangtou Group, to further discuss the cooperation of rail vehicle lightweight brake disc project.

(hereinafter referred to as "Xiangtou Light Material"), affiliated to Xiangtou Group, to further discuss the cooperation of rail vehicle lightweight brake disc project.
Mr. Sebastian and his team visited the world's first large-scale powder metallurgy lightweight brake disc production line of Xiangtou Light Materials, witnessed the entire process of brake disc production, and had on-site communication with the person in charge of Xiangtou Light Materials on process, quality management, product capacity, and other aspects.
At the subsequent business exchange meeting, both parties briefly reviewed the cooperation process and the phased achievements achieved. Mr. Sebastian stated that Xiangtou Light Materials has achieved admirable achievements in innovating aluminum based composite lightweight materials globally. As a leading enterprise in the global rail system and commercial vehicle system, Knorr Bremse is willing to establish a closer cooperation relationship with Xiangtou Light Material Co., Ltd. to provide comprehensive support for Xiangtou Light Material Co., Ltd. from the aspects of process improvement, Lean manufacturing management and mold life improvement, so as to achieve a win-win situation with a broader product range. He pointed out that both parties belong to high-tech companies, and he looks forward to further cooperation in the future.
